More room for big ambitions<\/p>\n

In 2026, we expanded our headquarters in Aarhus<\/a> by 1,300 square meters and added 70 new workspaces \u2013 another step in Mj\u00f8lner\u2019s growth and our work to create strong digital solutions.<\/p>\n

Today <\/span>we\u2019ve<\/span> got more than 4<\/span>00 talented experts <\/span>on the team<\/a><\/span>, and our greatest strength is our diversity of skills. <\/span>We\u2019re<\/span> specialists in software development<\/a>, digitalization advice<\/a>, and executing IT projects<\/a> start to finish.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mj\u00f8lner and Automize have worked closely together for several years, and the integration strengthens our ability to deliver holistic, scalable and advanced solutions to both existing and new customers. 2023 – 2025<\/h3>\n

MJ\u00d8LNER EXPANDS ITS REACH<\/p>\n

During the period 2023\u20132025, Mj\u00f8lner expands its reach with three new offices in Silkeborg, Southern Denmark, and Madrid<\/a>. With this expansion, we strengthen our presence both nationally and internationally and move even closer to customers, partners, and colleagues.<\/p>\n

The new offices give us better opportunities to collaborate across geographies, disciplines, and areas of expertise. At the same time, the expansion creates a stronger foundation for local presence, international outlook, and flexible ways of working together.<\/p>\n

With more locations, Mj\u00f8lner is even better positioned to develop digital solutions that create value for our customers \u2013 wherever they are.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2022<\/h3>\n

A CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP SOLIDIFIED MJ\u00d8LNER\u2019S PLACE IN THE MARKET <\/p>\n

In the spring of 2022 <\/span>Norlys<\/span> bought 95% of <\/span>Mj\u00f8lner<\/span> Informatics, who at the same time <\/span>gained<\/span> 84 new colleagues. The ownership change came out of an ambition to grow further, attract even more talent<\/span>,<\/span> as well as <\/span>working on more digitalization projects with even more clients.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The timing coincided with an expected changing of the guard among the owners, among whom many had been at the founding in 1988. Buying out <\/span>Mj\u00f8lner<\/span> is meant to support <\/span>Norlys<\/span>\u2019 own marked IT transformation, but with a continued focus on our other clients.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our clients\u2019 business is<\/span> <\/span>always w<\/span>h<\/span>ere we start. In 2022 we <\/span>established<\/span> the industry specific business entities: Energy & Utility, Manufacturing, and General Business. Our comprehensive domain knowledge can th<\/span>u<\/span>s be of even further benefit for our clients.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2019<\/h3>\n

NEW OFFICE IN THE HEART OF COPENHAGEN <\/p>\n

\n

An increase in demand from clients in western Denmark led to, in the spring of 2019, <\/span>Mj\u00f8lner<\/span> buying the Danish IT consultants <\/span>Springfeed<\/span>, based in Copenhagen. The buy brought <\/span>us <\/span>geographically close<\/span>r<\/span> to both current and potential clients.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The following years saw an expansion in our engagement in western Denmark and showed that <\/span>we\u2019re<\/span> a national supplier in the fields of digital transformation, software development and user-centric design.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2018<\/h3>\n

SALE OF DRAUPNER GRAPHICS <\/p>\n

\n

In the summer of 2018, we sold our sister company, <\/span>Draupner<\/span> Graphics, to the international microelectronics producer STMicroelectronics. <\/span>Draupner<\/span> Graphics was founded by <\/span>Mj\u00f8lner<\/span> Informatics in 2014 with the exact purpose of <\/span>continuing development and sell the product called <\/span>TouchGFX<\/span>, a framework making it possible for the user to create innovative embedded graphical user interfaces with high-end visuals and animation, all on micro controllers.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
