Præhospitalet wanted a more flexible data collection system as well as a higher quality of a data. They needed a system that could help them quickly gather new data after a helicopter mission and participate in research projects and activity analyses.
In order to create a system that supports the users’ (emergency doctors) workflows, Præhospitalet wished to include doctors in the development process.
Mjølner designed a generic and flexible system for data registration through a web solution where safety is paramount. Prospectively, Præhospitalet will be much more flexible in their data collection.
The framework is a responsive set-up within a modern and simple design. Based on a user participation process with workshops and tests, our team of User Experience Consultants, designer, software developers, project manager, and an architect created Præhospitalet’s new data collection system.
In order to create the best possible outcome, the work methods of the project had to be extremely agile and incorporate the results of the user participation activities included in the process.
This way, Mjølner and Præhospitalet had a highly efficient collaboration with a simple, flexible, and effective data collection system as the result.
“Mjølner delivers professionalism, high quality, and a well-managed and agile project. They were flexible throughout the entire process, and they still managed to meet all the pre-set milestones. It was refreshing with a truly agile supplier.”
With their new system, Præhospitalet is much more flexible in their data collection.
Recording data will hopefully be much less burdensome, and the data quality much higher, when the doctors start using the system.
“Mjølner is the most skilled partner I have worked with in this industry. They more than met our expectations in terms of graphic design, end-user participation, and project management.”
Præhospitalet is the professional health assistance that patients receive before admitting to the hospital. Præhospitalet is a unit under Region Midtjylland, and it consists of 110 employees.
They solve the tasks in close cooperation with the other emergency forces, the region’s hospitals, and private operators. Tasks include, among others, ambulance driving and immediate doctor helicopter service.
